The Project e-tivity is a complex task that can be performed individually or in a team of students. It intensively engages the student(s) in the project activity since they have to search for important information, solve problems, gather needed resources, document what they do, and finally present a report of their work. After presentation, the project results can be analyzed and discussed by other students. This learning activity is based on constructivism and the “learning by doing” approach. It develops holistic skills in specific areas, supports learner autonomy and stimulates critical thinking.

Various Web 2.0 tools can be used for this e-tivity: collaborative writing tools for teamwork (Google Docs), wiki, blog, e-portfolio, or online presentations / video tagging tools for reporting on project outcomes, social bookmarking tools for collecting links to online resources, etc.
