Activity analysis
From iProjekt
The final part of a project or a lecture can include the Activity analysis e-tivity. This can be performed as individual or group review of the work that was done, including the feedback on the outcomes. If an online discussion is organized for this purpose, it could address the following issues: (1) what the students have learned, (2) what they have experienced during the learning process, (3) what problems appeared during their work on the learning tasks, (4) how the students cooperated, (5) what was the theoretical background of the practical activity, (6) what are the potential applications of what they have learned, (7) how the learning activity could be improved, etc. This is a predominantly cognitive learning activity that stimulates critical thinking and facilitates retention of the learning content. For this e-tivity a wiki or a blog tool could be used for documenting of the activities during the project or a lecture (e.g. for "diary" writing), as well as for the discussion on the previously mentioned issues (1-7). Also, collaborative writing tools could be used for collecting comments or feedback on the outcomes of the project or lecture. |
