Main purpose

is online electronic portfolio (ePortfoilo). It enables users to record their education achievements, career development and personal reflections.

Basic features include:
* collection of different artefacts
* writing a blog  (weblog)
* building a resume 
* social networking 
* creating online communities (groups) 

Useful information

To use this tool user need to create an account.

Foliospaces are developed on Mahara open source software.

Pros & Cons

Pros

• most features are FREE
• privacy settings options
• forum and blog options
• making friends
• posting on wall
• message options
• creation of groups
• adding details and tags to views

Cons

• doesn't support all kinds of source embedding (except of YouTube video)
• there is no undo option when by view deleting
• connection session brakes sometimes (during writing a lot of text in view)
• only 50MB of storage in free version
• there can't be added aliases to vies
