During an online Organizational activity the students perform grouping, sorting, categorization, hierarchical structuring or similar activity. They can make lists, draw a chart, create a diagram, etc. This e-tivity can be performed before, during, or after a lecture. It makes the students much more involved in the topic of the lecture, they gather additional information, (re)structure existing or create new knowledge. Examples of organizational activity are creating mind-maps or drawing block-diagrams.

Various Web 2.0 tools can be used for organizational e-activity like wikies, notes-sharing tools, mind-mapping and block-diagram tools, video-tagging tools, online presentation tools, etc.
